Choose the route and transport model
The specification covers collection and delivery addresses, product type, cartons or pallets, dimensions, weight, delivery windows and required documentation. Parcel, pallet and part-load models are evaluated against the actual shipment. Transit times and availability are confirmed for the selected route rather than promised for all of Germany.
Protect the cold chain at every handover
For products requiring 2–8 °C or controlled room temperature, packaging or vehicle equipment must fit the product and route. The agreed process addresses staging times, loading, monitoring and receipt. A temperature label alone does not establish a suitable cold-chain operation.
Qualified carriers and documented dispatch
Carrier suitability, responsibilities, service level and escalation contacts are reviewed before dispatch. Shipment references, required temperature evidence and proof of delivery are agreed. A defined handover connects the warehouse process to the transport process.
- Shipment and packaging checks
- Assessed carrier and route
- Handover documentation
- Delivery and exception records
Temperature excursions and delivery exceptions
Delay, damaged packaging, missing evidence and temperature excursions require clear reporting and escalation. Affected goods are identified; the responsible function assesses the product status based on the available evidence. Transport coordination does not replace the required quality decision.

Costs depend on the route, shipment size, temperature-control method and service level. Send the collection and delivery details, quantities, dimensions, weight, temperature limits and time windows. Deliveries to Berlin are assessed using the same route and product profile; no immediate or refrigerated service is confirmed without suitability and availability checks.
